Introducing Astro Flame, a candle-powered version of our classic 1963 design that adapted for candle by designer, Magnus Pettersen. This is the largest tea light-powered lava lamp in the range using bottles that are compatible across the entire iconic Astro range. Every Astro Flame lava lamps is entirely hand-made in Britain and includes three tealights.

Following the sell-out success of our first collaboration in 2023, multi-disciplinary Dutch designer and artist Sabine Marcelis and British heritage brand Mathmos, inventor of the world’s first lava lamp, teamed up again to launch their second collectible Sabine Marcelis x Mathmos Astro Lava Lamp that launched 3rd October 2024.
