Vintage Mathmos® lava lamps hold a special place in British design history. First created in 1963, they have been part of our culture, our homes, and our imaginations for more than sixty years. Today, collecting and restoring these earlier pieces has become an important part of the Mathmos community. A recent photo shoot at 2&4 Vintage Furniture in London brought this to life: a space filled with character, crafted objects, and mid-century forms proved the perfect setting to show how beautifully vintage Mathmos lamps continue to sit within contemporary interiors.
