Mathmos collaborated with 80s aesthetic enthusiasts, Neon Talk, with a special giveaway to celebrate their 1 million followers milestone. Ten special edition Mathmos X Neon Talk Astro lava lamps were created with in a design collaboration with a grid effect laser etched across the Astro base and cap. Three exclusive colours were available, Clear/Turquoise, Clear/Pink and Clear/Yellow.
A small number were exclusively for sale on the Neon Talk website for a limited time only with the sale proceeds donated to Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) Charity.
To celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2023, we released a striking limited edition blue Astro vinyl lava lamp in collaboration with British photographer, publisher and film director Rankin. This exclusive run of 1,000 lamps sold out quickly, with collectors and enthusiasts eager to add this unique piece to their collections.
