The Mathmos Lava Lamp Factory Showroom is now open to visitors, visiting details here. Please come and visit us to see the full range of Mathmos lava lamps, talk to our product experts and share your stories with us. Products are of course available to both take away and have sent within the UK free of charge.
We will always keep back a few Limited Editions, Special Fills and even First Editions for those visiting the factory. We also offer our 30% Accessory Discount with no minimum amount should you need spares to keep your lamps flowing.
We have been based in Poole, Dorset, UK, since 1963. We have moved around into larger and smaller factories and back again, never moving far from our first factory on Poole Quay.
Collecting Mathmos Lava Lamps
Mathmos is lucky to have an active collecting community for both our vintage and current lava lamp models.
For our vintage and older models, we ensure we provide spares for most of our classic lamps to keep them bubbling into the future. Take advantage of our 30% Accessories Discount when you buy these.
New lava lamps from Mathmos include special Limited Editions of our classic lava lamps, see recent Limited Editions here. We also regularly offer Special Fills for out of range lava lamp colourways filled to order in our Poole factory. We also like to reward our most engaged early buyers with specially etched First Editions of new products and product variants to emerge from our factory.

Mathmos has been supplying lamps for Sensory Rooms & Snozelrooms for many years. Our lava lamps, and particularly our lava lamp projector Space Projector, help the users of those rooms to calm down and provide a range of useful tools to help treat a range of conditions.
