A vacuum metalised version of Mathmos' original 1963 Astro designed by Edward Craven Walker, founder of Mathmos. When turned off the classic form of the Astro lava lamp is a solid silver mass. When turned on you can see the molten lava creating magical metallic reflections as it moves.
