Mathmos Neo Black launch

Iconic British brand Mathmos, renowned as the inventor of the lava lamp, proudly introduces the latest addition to its collection – the new generation Neo Lava Lamp in a captivating matt black finish.

Crafted with innovation in mind, the contemporary Neo Lava Lamp showcases a unique design, crafted from die-cast metal with a sleek matt black painted finish, a distinctive departure from the existing Neo range. Developed in collaboration with esteemed lighting designer Jonathan Coles, the Neo lamp is now available in six vibrant lava colourways, featuring Mathmos’ signature long-lasting formula.

Designed for people of all ages, Mathmos’ extensive expertise in lava lamp technology is evident in the development of the Neo series – the only lava lamp that seamlessly combines style with safety. Neo continues to be the only child safe lava lamp on the market, having passed stringent safety testing. The Neo lamp operates on low voltage, ensuring cooler temperatures compared to conventional lava lamps, the bottle is locked into place, is equipped with a shatterproof bottle, and the base has fixing points so it can be screwed to a surface for extra safety, offering peace of mind to users.

To mark the launch of the new finish, all Neo lamps sold from the Mathmos websites during the launch weekend from the 21st June will feature an exclusive numbered First Edition etch on the metal spine, adding a touch of collectability to this innovative release.
